Financial Information

Once you have been evaluated and the doctor has determined a treatment plan which is unique for you, she will have our Treatment Coordinator review your fee options. We try to make financing your treatment as convenient as possible, and she will create a fee schedule that will meet your budget needs.

Most payment plans are structured over eighteen months, and your total fee will include your full treatment and one set of retainers when you are finished. Your fee also covers any retainer check appointments you have with our office for the first 14 months after your braces are removed.

We accept payment via credit card, cheque, debit, and cash. You will be issued a receipt after your Orthodontic consultation, and if you continue with treatment a monthly receipt can be sent to your home address at your request. If you have dental insurance for Orthodontic coverage, we can provide you with a completed predetermination form at your first visit. This information gets forwarded to your Insurance carrier for approval of your Orthodontic benefits.

We are happy to provide direct billing to your insurance company (at our Dartmouth location only). However, your initial consultation appointment and any visits prior to commencing your braces are not billed directly, and must be paid in full on the day of your examination. Any diagnostic radiographs which may be required are extra.

We offer a 5 % discount for patients who wish to pay for their entire Orthodontic treatment in full. We also offer a special reduction for multiple family members.
